A while back, the Extra Features team talked Writer/Director Aaron Peacock and Co-writer Aidan Kennedy about their short film “Colin Carvey’s Long Halloween.” Now the duo is back with a TV series titled “Inklings: Tale Tales, Short Stories.” The series launches on August 6, 2026 and is an anthology series featuring four episodes: a sci-fi romance, a fantasy horror story, a comedy crime thriller, and a potpourri episode featuring a kaiju short and a horror short that played Fantasia Film Festival in 2025.
“Inkings” is set to premiere on Bell Fibe TV 1. The series was inspired by local stories, and employed creatives from all over Northumberland County. It continues the community filmmaking philosophy started with “Colin Carvey”.
